Constitutional objectives

2.1 The charitable aim of The Choir is as follows: i. Advancement of religion ii. Advancement of African heritage and culture. 2.2 The Objectives of The Choir shall be to: a. assist the parish priests of the various parishes in the celebration of Mass through singing. b. promote the different African styles of worship and music during the celebration of the Holy Eucharist, concerts, and special events. This will aid in the exposure of different African cultures to all parishioners and the community in Aberdeen and the United Kingdom. c. support other charities through participating in (singing at) charity events to help raise funds in Aberdeen and the United Kingdom. d. foster fraternal relationships among members. e. render spiritual, material and moral assistance to any member in distress or in need. f. provide a forum for all Catholic faithful and aspiring Catholics to discuss issues of common interest, especially those that affect their faith. g. evangelize and reach out through singing.
