02 Purpose and work

What the charity exists to do

The Trustees recognise the 'green technology' origins of the initial funding of the trust. The Trust wishes to 'make a difference' to the community and will look seriously at funding projects that aim to create a new activity, give people new opportunities, incresase particiation, improve inclusivity or protect vulnerable activities. The latter might benefit from a one-off grant to provide a 'leg up' or a loan to relieve a short-term cashflow problem. The Trustees are receptive to innovative and creative ideas as well as the small and simple. The criteria is always - can it make a differece and does the community benefit?.
