What the charity exists to do

The trust exists to restore and refurbish the former Boroughmuir High School annexe (now known as the St. Oswald’s Centre) located on Montpelier, Edinburgh. The purpose of the redevelopment of the St. Oswald’s Centre is to provide a community hub focused on delivering wrap-around childcare for local primary school children, extra-curricular activities for children, learning and development opportunities for young people, a space for community groups to meet and interact, and, in conjunction with other local charities and support groups, to promote community-based preventative care services for the elderly and carers. Other community lets and cultural productions sympathetic to our community-led aim will also be welcomed.
