02 Purpose and work
What the charity exists to do
Hillview Islamic & Education Centre is set up to advance education, religion, and racial harmony, while providing recreational facilities to improve quality of life across our local community. We achieve this by facilitating daily congregational prayers, Friday services, and monthly spiritual gatherings. We deliver structured faith education and Quranic memorisation (Tahfeez) for youth, alongside Tajweed and Quran translation classes for adults. To foster community cohesion and cross-cultural understanding, we host Ramadhan Iftar meals and an Annual Grand Interfaith Iftar Dinner welcoming people from diverse backgrounds. Additionally, we offer free family counseling and practical assistance with Visa, ILR, and Passport applications to support local wellbeing
