What the charity exists to do
Management and renovation of an outdoor centre and its grounds. Provision of activities for children and young people to that end and to better resilience health.

Constitutional objectives
The organisation’s purposes are: • The advancement of citizenship and community development, • The provision of recreational facilities, or the organisation of recreational activities, with the object of improving the conditions of life of the persons for whom the facilities or activities are primarily intended, • And the advancement of education. In furtherance of these purposes, the organisation will carry out the following activities: 4.1 Redevelopment & running of the old Towford School Outdoor Centre and grounds, nr Jedburgh. 4.2 Providing a facility which can be used by groups to promote any of the following: culture, heritage, environment, leisure, recreation, sport, health, wellbeing, education and the local economy. 4.3 Encouraging young people to access, learn about, and take part in activities in a rural setting, with a focus on individuals and groups who would not normally be able access rural areas. 4.4 Responsible regeneration and maintenance of grounds for the benefit of local wildlife. 4.5 Operation of a UK Navigator Unit to – 4.5.1 Develop resources and deliver outdoor recreational activities, for the benefit of children and young persons and the communities in which they live. Encouraging their physical, mental and spiritual development so they may take a constructive place in society. 4.5.2 Provide a framework to allow young people to take an active role in the management of Towford outdoor centre and other outdoor resources.
