02 Purpose and work

What the charity exists to do

Adventure Oban exists to support the Oban and North Argyll community to access the great outdoors, particularly working where socio and economic barriers preclude community members from participating in certain activities. Adventure Oban provide knowledge, opportunities, equipment and access to events and activities that break down these barriers. We work alongside existing clubs and informal groups - helping them to grow and develop in relevant areas.
