Constitutional objectives

The purposes of the Trust are the creation or increase of public benefit through: (One) the advancement of health through the promotion and support of Cancer related organisations or initiatives within the North East of Scotland and the area surrounding and inclusive of Blantyre, Scotland. and (Two) the advancement of education through the promotion and support of educational purposes in the North East of Scotland and the area surrounding and inclusive of Blantyre in Scotland, and in particular to encourage reading and literacy and the provision and teaching of music amongst children and adolescents. (Three) supporting such organisations or initiatives as my Trustees shall in their sole and absolute discretion think fit to support or establish and in such shares and proportions and subject to such terms and conditions as my Trustees shall appoint but always provided that such organisations or initiatives create or promote public benefit in accordance with sub-clauses (One) and (Two) above. The purposes set out in this clause are hereinafter called “the Trust Purposes”
