Constitutional objectives
4 The organisation’s purposes are: 4.1 To promote the benefits of the local community and its environs, irrespective of race, religion, politics or age by associating the local authorities, voluntary associations and inhabitants in a common effort to advance education, to promote good citizenship and to provide facilities in the interests of social welfare for recreation and leisure-time occupation with the object of improving the quality of life for the said inhabitants. and 4.2 To secure the establishment of a community centre and to co-operate with Glasgow City Council in the maintenance and management of the centre for activities promoted by the centre in furtherance of the above aims and objectives or any of them.
