02 Purpose and work

What the charity exists to do

Whitecraig Village Hub SCIO was set up to provide a place for local people to come together, to help foster a sense of community, to provide opportunities to participate in groups and activities at low or no cost, and to help relieve isolation, poverty and other disadvantages. We do this by delivering a programme of activities within the Village Hub. This can include community events and activities, youth clubs, school holiday programmes and lunches, Pop-Up shop, Book Bug, Family Play, Bite & Blether for older people, Community Cafe, Fitness Classes, Emergency Food Pantry
