02 Purpose and work

What the charity exists to do

The objective of Lets Grow Kids (UK) Ltd is to help mothers to bond with their new-born children and to develop an interactive relationship which helps the children’s brains develop in their first three years. We are working with 31 families in Dunoon and Rothesay, Argyll, all are referred to us by health services and almost all are at risk of the children being taken into care. So our other objective is to give families the greatest opportunity of staying together and avoiding the care system.
