Constitutional objectives
The Organisation has been formed to benefit the community of Beancross and Newlands (the 'Community'), with the following purposes (the 'Purposes'): The advancement of citizenship or community development and the provision of recreational facilities through: Promoting the wellbeing of the Community by associating the residents in a common effort to provide a meeting place and facilities for physical and mental training and recreation, and social, moral and intellectual development, and to foster a community spirit for the achievement of these. Occupying and managing the Newlands Community Centre (hereinafter called 'the Centre') for activities promoted by the Organisation in furtherance of the above objects.
