Constitutional objectives

4 The organisation's purposes are: The prevention or relief of poverty In furtherance of these purposes but not otherwise the organisation will: 4.1 The prevention or relief of poverty through helping people who are vulnerable to energy poverty, primarily in developing countries, by assisting them to gain access to affordable and sustainable energy sources. 4.2 The relief of those in need by reason of age, ill-health, disability, financial hardship or other disadvantage, primarily in developing countries, by providing alternatives to traditional cooking stoves and by informing people in need about the effects of continuous use of traditional fuels that can cause health problems. 4.3 Provide practical support that enhances lives.
