02 Purpose and work
What the charity exists to do
Our charity is dedicated to supporting the community of Ruchazie by addressing barriers to wellbeing and fostering connection. We provide essential services like a community Pantry for affordable food, a café offering meals and cooking classes, and allotments for growing fresh produce. We also create inclusive spaces for education, cultural exchange, and social activities, such as book groups and mum support groups. By engaging with volunteers, training programs, and partnerships with local organisations, we empower individuals and build a stronger, more resilient community. Our mission is to support people of all ages, from cradle to grave, promoting wellbeing, sustainability, and togetherness.
