What the charity exists to do

The Charity was set up to use Asset Based Community Development and bring people together in communities through their skills and interests to strengthen communities and empower residents to achieve their aims for their area in which they live. This would develop social connections, reduce social isolation, relieve effects of poverty and rural disadvantage and improve health and wellbeing.

Purposes 4 The organisation's purposes are: 4.1 the advancement of citizenship and community development and in furtherance of this 4.1.1 using the principles of asset based community development, residents in South Ayrshire will be supported to discover their inner flair, skills and interests and develop this into something meaningful for individuals and communities. 4.1.2 Through this, residents will - Be better connected into a community Have increased social connectedness Develop support networks Be supported to achieve their aims for their own community Improve health and wellbeing which will allow them to flourish
