Social Shifters was established with the aim of enabling the next generation of leaders, innovators, and entrepreneurs to tackle the world's most pressing social and environmental issues in new ways.

The charitable purposes of the company are: 3.1.1. to advance citizenship and community development by encouraging citizens to a. develop solutions to social and environmental issues in their communities b. plan, start or grow social enterprises, not-for-profit organisations, charities and campaigns for the public benefit. 3.1.2. to advance education among social entrepreneurs and those involved in social enterprises or charitable activity by: a. providing high quality learning that develops new skills, creates new knowledge and enables those individuals to carry on projects for the public benefit.
