Constitutional objectives
The Organisation has been formed to benefit the community of Strathaven as defined by the Postcode Districts ML9 and ML10 (the 'Community') by the raising of funds for and developing a community garden, orchard and other similar facilities, with the following purposes (the 'Purposes'): 4.1 The advancement of health by aiming to increase and broaden access to fresh nutritious food and to promote and encourage gardening as a way of improving physical and mental wellbeing. 4.2 The advancement of citizenship and community development by encouraging inter-generational and inter-cultural interactions and learning, and connecting people within the Community. 4.3 Any other purpose that may reasonably be regarded as analogous to any of the preceding purposes.
