The charity is set up to manage and maintain the hall and grounds in order to provide a facility for the community to take part in activities and social events.

Constitutional objectives

4 The organisation's purposes are: 4.1 the provision of recreational facilities, or the organisation of recreational activities, with the object of improving the conditions of life for the persons for whom the facilities or activities are primarily intended. 4.2 the advancement of citizenship or community development, through providing a central venue for community activities, social events and private functions. 4.3 the advancement of education, through lectures and presentations. 4.4 the advancement of the arts, heritage, culture and science, through classes, exhibitions and performances. 4.5 the advancement of environmental protection or improvement, through maintaining and developing the local environment. and 4.6 managing, operating, maintaining and promoting use of the village hall to support the above purposes.
