Constitutional objectives

The organisation's purpose is to advance the public participation in the sport of basketball for school aged children from disadvantaged socioeconomic backgrounds, such as Govan and surrounding areas. In furtherance of this, the organisation will carry out the following activities: (a) offer primary and secondary school pupils the opportunity to engage with the sport of basketball. Through this, pupils can facilitate the development of physical, psychological, academic, and civic responsibility skills which, in turn, supports their socioeconomic mobility, e.g. through creation of university student-athlete pathways. (b) develop an 'ultra-endurance' sustainable basketball for disadvantaged communities in local communities, e.g. Govan, as well as in developing countries, e.g. Ghana. and (c) coach and mentor pupils outside of a basketball setting, e.g. through CV reviewing services when they apply for university.
