What the charity exists to do

Grants and funding is obtained through submussion proposals for the sole purpuse of improving life within the springburn park area and involving the community along with educating through activities.

  • the advancement of the arts, heritage, culture or science
  • the provision of recreational facilities, or the organisation of recreational activities, with the object of improving the conditions of life for the persons for whom the facilities or activities are primarily intended

Constitutional objectives

4.1 The advancement of the arts, heritage, culture or science through the provision of activities within the park 4.2 The advancement of citizenship or community development (including rural or urban regeneration) through the provision of volunteering opportunities to local people 4.3 The provision of recreational facilities and the organisation of recreational activities with the object of improving the conditions of life for the persons for whom the facilities or activities are primarily intended. Within the park there are a few facilities which could be upgraded thus allow local activities to be delivered. 4.4 The advancement of environmental protection or improvement which will allow the local community to have access to a clean, safe outdoor space which everyone can enjoy.
