Constitutional objectives

4. The purposes of HSTAR Scotland SCIO are: To promote social inclusion, integration, and participation among refugees, people seeking asylum, migrants, and those at risk of exclusion in Scotland. To advance education and lifelong learning, including the provision of language support, skills development, cultural orientation, and vocational training. To deliver and support arts, culture, heritage, and creative activities that foster mutual understanding, community empowerment, and the celebration of diversity. To relieve poverty, need, and social disadvantage through direct support, advocacy, and signposting to appropriate services, in partnership with other organisations. To improve mental and physical health and wellbeing through peer support, mentoring, access to recreation, and safeguarding activities. To promote equality and human rights in alignment with Scottish law, tackling discrimination and enhancing the participation of marginalized groups in public life. To do all such other lawful things as may be incidental or conducive to the attainment of the above purposes, provided these remain charitable in law.
