What the charity exists to do
Through supported respite breaks in the Scottish countryside focussed on physical activity, mental wellbeing and fun, AWARE Scotland seeks to provide unique experiences, building confidence and engendering life long friendships for all young people, irrespective of their life experiences or background.

Constitutional objectives
Aware Scotland believes that all young people no matter their life experience or background have a right to happiness and opportunities for self development. Our vision is to help those most in need achieve their full potential as valued members of our community. We do this through supported respite breaks in the Scottish countryside focused on physical activity, mental wellbeing and fun. We seek to provide unique experience, build confidence and engender life long friendship. Our charitable purpose in relation to the 2005 Act is the relief of those in need by reason of age, ill-health, disability, financial hardship or other disadvantage. The activities will be for the fulfilment of those who are disadvantaged and in need. We will identify those in need by way of recommendations from schools, clubs and similar projects to ourselves.
