What the charity exists to do
Auldgirth Hall SCIO was set up to provide and maintain a facility for the local community of Auldgirth and District for community activities, meetings etc

Constitutional objectives
The organisation's purposes are. 5.1 to hold the property of Auldgirth Hall. The title to all heritable property of the Auldgirth Hall shall be held in name of the trustees (and their respective successors in those offices) as trustees for and on behalf of the Auldgirth Hall. and the trustees of the Auldgirth Hall from time to time shall automatically hold office ex officio as such trustees. For the avoidance of doubt, the reference in this clause to 'heritable property/' shall be taken to include land and buildings (including, where applicable walls and other structures, fences and gates, fixtures and fittings, any rights of access/use, and any rights over subjects used in common with others), the tenant's interest under any lease or sub-lease, the benefit of any servitudes and wayleaves and any other interests in land. 5.2 to promote the interests and use of the Auldgirth Hall to provide a public unsectarian hall for the use and benefit of residents for recreation, public worship, teaching and the like for all inhabitants of the district with the object of improving the conditions of life for the local and wider community. 5.3 to attract funds for the general maintenance and upkeep of the Auldgirth Hall on behalf of and by the local community by ensuring it is adequately maintained and in a state of good order and repair. This includes letting it to approved organisations, groups and individuals andother general fundraising activities.
