02 Purpose and work

What the charity exists to do

The main aim of the Clyde Coast & Cumbraes Men's Shed is to help improve men’s mental health and wellbeing by providing a venue where men can choose to either work, relax, make and repair things, pursue hobbies and pastimes, get practical help with projects, and share & learn new skills. Perhaps more importantly, it’s a place where men can make new friends, have a cuppa, a chat, a laugh, and get out of the house for a while. We believe that all of the above will help to combat feelings of loneliness and isolation, and will generally re-engage men back into our community.
