The charity's purposes, which are for the public benefit, are set out in the Articles of Association and are: (1) Improve cultural diversity in Scotland. (2) Promote African culture and heritage. (3) Celebrate the socio-historical connection between Africa and Scotland. Activities (1) Providing a forum for Africans and non-Africans to learn about the rich history and culture of the African continent. (2) Running various educational forums and cultural events in the Scottish economy.
