What the charity exists to do
The main purpose of the charity is the advancement of education by the cultivation and improvement of public taste in music, opera, ballet and other fine arts in Scotland and elsewhere, and in particular the work and activities of the Scottish Chamber Orchestra.

Constitutional objectives
(i) The advancement of education by the cultivation and improvement of public taste in music, opera, ballet and other fine arts in Scotland and elsewhere, and in particular the work and activities of the Scottish Chamber Orchestra: and (ii) to promote similar charitable purposes, objects or institutions in such proportions and manner as the Trustees think fit.
