Purposes 4 The organisation's purposes within the Duns and district area defined as postcodes TD10 and TD11 are the advancement or improvement of environmental protection And in furtherance Greener Duns will: (a) Encourage the development of a more circular economy focusing on reducing, repairing, re-using and recycling resources. (b) Improve air quality and reduce carbon emissions associated with transport and travel, including encouraging more active travel. (c) Support efforts to improve biodiversity, to protect nature and expand accessible green spaces. (d) Support development of more sustainable food systems. (e) Help and collaborate with others to develop more sustainable energy use in buildings. (f) Educate and influence the community in sustainable activities.
