02 Purpose and work
What the charity exists to do
The Trust primarily supports charities which are focussed upon education and, in particular, getting young people back into education, training or work. We often support charities that work towards the relief of poverty and these will usually have an educational aspect such as the support of school uniform banks and breakfast clubs. The Trust is funded entirely by donation from The Explorer Group Ltd. We receive requests for donations through The Explorer Group website and we also seek out suitable charities ourselves often concentrating on the communities in which The Explorer Group operates its businesses.
