02 Purpose and work
What the charity exists to do
The purpose of our charity is the running and maintenance of the McBoyle Hall for community use and also decorate the village with floral displays and maintain these. We also are involved with Remembrance Day parade and Christmas Lights and decoration.

Constitutional objectives
The objects of the Association are, for the benefit of the inhabitants of Portknockie without distinction of age, gender or of political, religious or other opinions, to advance the education and to provide, or assist in the provision of, facilities in the interest of social welfare for recreational or other leisure-time occupation in an effort to improve the said inhabitants conditions of life.
