02 Purpose and work
What the charity exists to do
Grove Menzieshill Hockey Club is set up and carries out activities as follows. The Club is constituted to play the games of Outdoor and Indoor Hockey as laid down by the rules of the game. The Club will play competitively within the frameworks provided by Midland Hockey, Scottish Hockey, and the European Hockey Federation. The Club will aim to provide the best hockey playing opportunities through training and matches for all its members regardless of age or ability and will specifically support the development of youth hockey. The Club, throughout its activities, will encourage fair play and equality, will promote the health and wellbeing of all its members and will provide a friendly and welcoming environment for its members and supporters. The Club will be active in all areas necessary to achieve its aims and objectives and will always strive for improvement both on and off the pitch. The Club will maintain a Child Protection Policy.
