02 Purpose and work
What the charity exists to do
To relieve the needs of the elderly population within the Kirkcowan area. To promote the benefit of the elderly by providing facilities to improve the quality of life, recreation and other leisure time occupations. We host a meeting every week where people can interact with others. We hold a craft group for all things craft related. We host a Christmas and Burns Lunch. We have a minibus which alows us to take members out and about which, they would not otherwise be able to do.
