02 Purpose and work

What the charity exists to do

Our Club is associated to the worldwide Rotary International. We follow 7 Areas of Focus namely - Peacebuilding and conflict prevention. Disease prevention and treatment. Water sanitation and hygiene. Basic education and literacy. Maternal and child health. Community economic development. and Protecting the environment. We fundraise through various activities and donate monies to local and international charities. We assist Poppy Scotland by organising their collection locally prior to armistice Sunday by distributing cans to local businesses and schools.
