What the charity exists to do

Banchory Outdoor and Active (BOA) aims to to promote active and healthy lifestyles and support the development of community sports facilities in the local area AB31 postcode. BOA hopes to purchase a currently derelict all weather training area and upgrade this to a community sporting and wellbeing hub for all members of the community to enjoy. BOA also strive to promote increased public participation in local clubs through advice, making connections and financial donations.

To develop and create a multisport facility in a central Banchory location. Assist to promote, advance and further local sport clubs and groups via a vibrant membership. Strengthen community cohesion and bring people together. Aid in supporting local sport facilities/clubs/groups in making their facilities accessible to all. Support local initiatives that focus on improving physical, health and mental wellbeing and promotes active and healthy lifestyles.
