02 Purpose and work

What the charity exists to do

Re-wilding the land, helping with biodiversity on the land, helping members of the public with anxiety and other mental health issues come to a place located in nature to relax and unwind and experience the healing power of nature. We are creating a venue at the moment for people to come and take part in events and volunteering days. We have put up yurts and compost toilet and hope to do more going into next year. The year started in February 2025 for Heart of the Wild with the construction of a deck to house the yurt we had bought in 2024. It took a weekend to construct. In early March we spent a weekend to complete the deck and put the yurt on it. Since then, we have used it as a venue space and as accommodation for events and in October we bought a log burner to heat the space. In June we held a healing circles weekend with 5 healings taking place and on the Saturday night we had a bonfire and fun. At the beginning of October, we held a weekend to build a compost toilet near
