02 Purpose and work
What the charity exists to do
To promote bowls to players of all ages by holding practice sessions, competitions and guidance to those wishing to take up the sport. This develops a community spirit through events held at the club all year round and promotes health and wellbeing in all participants.

Constitutional objectives
The Club will operate as a non-profit distributing charity whose principal objectives are: (a) The advancement of public participation in Bowls as a sport. (b) To provide recreational facilities and/or organise recreational activities, available to members of the public at large, with the object of improving the conditions of life. In furtherance of the objectives the Club Shall: (i) organising games and competitions on behalf of members. (ii) promote Lawn Bowling as a health recreational and sporting activity that can be undertaken by people of all ages, abilities and levels of fitness to improve social interaction, and mental and physical health (b) provide coaching and instruction as necessary.
