Hike & Bike Hub operates as a social enterprise, promoting walking and cycling for health, leisure, social inclusion and active travel. We also promote everyday acceptance and inclusion of neurodiversity, particularly autism

The organisation's purposes are: (a) The SCIOs purposes are to benefit principally the community of Galashiels and district which comprises the TD1 postcode ('The Community') with the following objects. 4.1 - The advancement of community development including the advancement of rural regeneration principally with the community 4.2 - Contributing to increased community health and wellbeing linked to active travel 4.3 - The promotion of equality and diversity, specifically increased acceptance, and inclusion, of autism and autistic people 4.4 - The provision of recreational facilities, or the organisation of recreational activities, with the object of improving the conditions of life for the persons for whom the facilities or activities are primarily intended and in particular through the promotion of cycling and walking, and the provision of facilities and activities relative to cycling and walking.
