02 Purpose and work

What the charity exists to do

The Bowmore Community Association is set up to primarily bring the community of Bowmore and Islay together by putting on events. We intend to increase and strengthen community bonds and resilience. We run a number of events throughout the year including easter, summer sports day, fireworks night, Christmas light switch on aswell as other events. We aim to put on a events that are inclusive to all by having a quiet hour at events. We want to improve the lives of people if all ages in our community physically and mentally by putting on these events that encompass the community spirit.
