What the charity exists to do
• Provision and maintenance of the bowling green at Walkershaugh, Peebles. • The provision of opportunities for all ages to play bowls e.g. o Entries in Border Leagues both ladies and gents o Entries in the Peeblesshire Bowling Association Leagues o Organisation of internal club competitions e.g. 2 bowl, triples, rinks, mixed, handicap o Organisation of ‘open’ competitions e.g. singles, pairs, triples, rinks, mixed. o Organisation of internal fun games e.g. Wapenshaw, Hat Nights, Ladies' Day o Organisation of community opportunities to sample bowling e.g. Traders’ Day, Disability Scotland |Days, Local Schools Groups, • The maintenance of clubhouse facilities including kitchen, lounge and bar. • The organisation of social gatherings e.g. Dart and Dom Nights. • Submitting funding applications in support of our clubhouse extension
