02 Purpose and work

What the charity exists to do

Lily's Legacy is fundraising enough money to build or buy a suitable respite lodge or house that will be used by sick children and their family/close friends. This was a valuable resource to Lily and her family through a really difficult time and gave her and those close to her chance to step away from a not so nice normal at times and just be a family. Valuable time to love each other, laugh with each other and make special bonds/memories that will go on to be cherished forever. The charity will continue to support families for up to 2 years following the loss of a child from cancer.
