What the charity exists to do

Tehillah is set up to broadly delivereducational empowerment and support todisadvantaged children in Scotland,specifically in Aberdeen, especially from butnot limited to minority ethnic backgrounds.Also, it is to deliver community services andsupport to the young locals of Aberdeen cityand Aberdeenshire.

Constitutional objectives

1. The organisation's purpose is the advancement of education through activities that improve and support greater access to education to disadvantaged children in Scotland specifically in Aberdeen, especially from but not limited to minority ethnic background. 2. Disadvantaged children include but not limited to children from who experience domestic abuse (directly or indirectly) or life-changing situation. 3. In furtherance of the education purpose of this organisation, the organisation will undertake the following activities: (a) Provide tailored educational support materials such as books, laptop, iPad, internet and other learning tools. (b) Provide financial assistance and bursaries (c) Provide career coaching and mentorship seminars and webinars (d) Organising events to encourage and support parents to better engage with their children and their educational needs. (e) Organise local events such as visits to theatres, art centres and museums (1) Provide education welfare - such as clothing. food, accommodation support etc. (g) Organise local events in partnership with local communities to promote awareness on education support information and materials.
