  • the advancement of environmental protection or improvement
  • the advancement of animal welfare

Activities

  • It carries out activities or services itself

Constitutional objectives

The Trustees shall hold and apply the sum of 1 paid by us to them, and such other funds and assets as may from time to time be comprised in the Trust Property, in trust for the following purposes:- (a) Saving the lives of animals and improving their wellbeing by advocating for a just transition to stock-free/organic farming and other alternative land-uses which would omit the need to include farmed animals in agricultural systems entirely, therefore preventing their suffering. (b) Protecting and improving the environment by advocating for a just transition to stock-free/organic farming and other alternative land-uses which would free up more land for ecosystem restoration, enhance biodiversity, emit less greenhouse gases, cause less pollution, preserve and improve soils, and use less natural resources. (c) Advancing public health by promoting the adoption of a whole foods plantbased diet for consumers and a stock-free/veganic food system, which would help minimise the emergence of zoonotic diseases, mitigate antibiotic resistance, reduce the incidence of diseases related to animal food consumption and reduce exposure to pesticides in food.
