What the charity exists to do

Masjid Bilal is a small Scottish Charity and operating in Glasgow. We seek to support the advancement of religion, the provision of recreational facilities, or the organisation of recreational activities, with the object of improving the conditions of life for the persons for whom the facilities or activities are primarily intended, the promotion of religious or racial harmony. The Charity’s objects are specifically restricted to the following: To promote and facilitate the advancement of Muslim culture and teachings and its ethos, within the Muslim community and the rest of the community at large, thereby providing better knowledge and understanding of Muslim culture by other communities and promoting integration of other diverse communities. To promote the physical, intellectual, social, moral and spiritual development of all members of the Muslim community with an emphasis on young people, and by providing a broad range of educational, recreational and spiritual activities.
