The organisation's purposes are: 4.1 the advancement of citizenship or community development and. 4.2 the provision of recreational facilities, or the organisation of recreational activities. In furtherance of these purposes the organisation will: 4.3 work within the community to help support local needs, we propose to operate the village hall on a lease basis with a view to purchase. Our aim is to upgrade the property to make it an attractive and viable commodity, a space that local groups and individuals can utilise and make the hall the centre of our village activities, encouraging friendship, community spirt and reducing isolation. We will aim to facilitate suitable activities for all age groups e.g. sports, dance, keep fit clubs or drop in centre and lunch clubs and encourage local people to volunteer and get involved in projects that interest them and benefit the wider community. 4.4 work towards improving the local play park and sports facilities. In addition we hope to regenerate the path network around and between villages, encouraging people to make better use of our outdoor space. Our vision includes creating sustainable eco friendly areas in and around the village that are attractive to people and wildlife with soft landscaping, planting and wildflower areas.
