What the charity exists to do
The objectives of the Church are to worship together in Spirit and truth, build the members up in the Faith and to proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ in word and in action. The Church aims to develop as a healthy Christian community, to serve the local neighbourhood and to make a global impact. The objectives of the Church are fulfilled through the following activities: Offering regular opportunities for worship, community and mission. Ensuring our building is used to strengthen and support local community wellbeing. Investing time and energy in our local schools and community centres. Providing holistic pastoral care for the church and local community through its pastoral and practical care teams, with an equal emphasis on all ages – from toddlers to the elderly. Providing a peaceful space for friendship and support

Constitutional objectives
The Purposes are: 4.1 The advancement of religion, specifically the Christian faith, primarily in Aberdeen and also throughout Scotland and the rest of the world, by all means consistent with the Christian Bible, the Declaration of Principle attached as Appendix 1 and the Statement of Faith Principles attached as Appendix 2. This includes, without prejudice to the foregoing generality, worship, ministry, mission, witness, prayer and fellowship. 4.2 The relief of those in need by reason of age, ill-health, disability, financial hardship or other disadvantage by volunteering time, providing physical resources and the support of individuals and other charitable organisations and agencies involved in any or all of these. 4.3 The prevention or relief of poverty by involvement in the local deprived neighbourhoods, providing physical needs and emotional support.
