02 Purpose and work

What the charity exists to do

The purposes of the Charity are: · To provide meetings and recreational activities for men to help prevent loneliness and protect mental health and wellbeing by the provision of group support throughout Scotland ('the Operating Area') with the ultimate goal of preventing isolation and the deterioration of mental health through the creation of comradery and friendship. · To hold regular group meetings for men to get together to reduce social exclusion and isolation and to discuss and be educated on mental health and wellbeing and to promote discussion of mental health issues and wellbeing by men. · To organise activities and events for men to enhance health and wellbeing and reduce social exclusion. and · to further any other charitable purposes which are similar to any of the preceding objects, for the benefit of men within the Operating Area.

The Charitable Purposes of the Charity ('the Charitable Purposes') are: 3.1.1 To promote and protect the mental health and wellbeing of men by the provision of support and advice throughout Scotland ('the Operating Area') with the ultimate goal of preventing suicide. 3.1.2 To hold regular group meetings for men to get together to discuss and be educated on mental health and wellbeing and to promote discussion of mental health and wellbeing by men. 3.1.3 To organise activities and events for men to enhance metal health and wellbeing. and 3.1.4 to further any other charitable purposes which are similar to any of the preceding objects, for the benefit of men within the Operating Area
