Constitutional objectives

5 The Organisation’s main purpose is consistent with furthering the achievement of sustainable development. The Organisation’s Purposes are: 5.1 The advancement of Community Development by acquiring, owning and sustainably maintaining the building of the former Holburn West Church and the neighbouring tennis court and pavilion in Ashley Park South in the City of Aberdeen for the public benefit of the Community. 5.2 The provision of recreational facilities, or the organisation of recreational activities, with the object of improving the conditions of life for the persons for whom the facilities or activities are primarily intended, and in furtherance of 5.1. 5.3 Make available for the public benefit use of and access to the buildings of the former Holburn West Church and associated tennis court in the City of Aberdeen. 5.4 The provision of a Centre for all age groups in which Youth Organisations may conduct their Group meetings and where (1) young people may come together to socialise in a safe environment and (2) adults may gather to share in company their common interests. 5.5 To provide a supported environment for the elderly, those experiencing hardship and those with physical and/or mental disabilities to enhance their quality of life. 5.6 To encourage the use of the premises for cultural, educational, religious, fitness and sporting purposes. 5.7 To assist in the development and delivery of sustainable initiatives creating value and benefit for the Community
