What the charity exists to do
A Nação Hebraica (SCIO), is an educational charity dedicated to exploring the history and heritage of the communities that make up the Western Sephardic Diaspora. We do this by digitally publishing transcriptions and translations of the 17th and 18th century manuscripts of the Western Sephardic Diaspora.

Constitutional objectives
4 The organisation is established for charitable purposes only, and in particular, the objects are: 4.1 to undertake scholarly research into the history and genealogy of the communities that make up the Western Sephardic diaspora in the Atlantic world. and 4.2 to identify and make available original source documents, materials and research, and to publish these in databases or physical publications, in order to inform and educate a worldwide public.
