02 Purpose and work
What the charity exists to do
Stepps CDT advanced citizenship through our neighbourhood competition to find the Most Sparkly Street in Stepps to encourage neighbours to work together to increase festivities. We encouraged environmental protection through participation in Keep Scotland Beautiful's 'It's Your Neighbourhood' through organised litter pick and maintenance of planters.

4 The company has been formed to benefit the community of Stepps, Crowwood Grange, Cardowan, Steppshill, Millerston which comprises Stepps and District Community Council area plus postcode units G33 6LYA, G33 6NB, G33 6ND, G33 6NS, G33 6NU, G33 6NX, G33 6PA, G33 6PG, G33 6PH, G33 6PS, G33 6PW, G33 6PX, G33 6GS, G33 6GT, G33 6GU, G33 6GY, G33 6GZ (?the Community?) with the following objects: (1) The advancement of community development (including the advancement of urban regeneration) principally within the Community. (2) The advancement of citizenship (3) The advancement of environmental protection and improvement (4) The provision of recreational facilities, or the organisation of recreational activities, of improving the conditions of life for the persons for whom the facilities or activities are primarily intended But only to the extent that the above purposes are consistent with furthering the achievement of sustainable development.
