02 Purpose and work

What the charity exists to do

Killin Sports & Recreation Hub exists to strengthen community life in Killin by providing inclusive, accessible spaces and activities for all ages. As a volunteer-led charity, the Hub develops and manages facilities that support sport, wellbeing, social connection, and intergenerational engagement. Its work ranges from improving local infrastructure—such as the pavilion, playing fields, and new sensory and community garden—to creating opportunities for people to be active, learn new skills, and come together. Everything the Hub does is shaped by community need, delivered in partnership with local groups, and focused on making Killin a healthier, more connected, and more resilient place to live.
