Constitutional objectives
3.1 To advance citizenship, community development and volunteering within and for the benefit of the community of Calders in Edinburgh by delivering a diverse variety of services and initiatives without distinction of sex, sexuality, political, religious or other opinion, with the object of improving their conditions of life. 3.2 To provide recreational facilities, particularly but not exclusively the Janitor's House and organise recreational activities, with the object of improving the conditions of life for the people of Calders 3.3 To advance education and learning by providing or facilitating workshops, training sessions and courses 3.4 The relief of those in need, by reason of youth, age, ill-health, disability, financial hardship or other disadvantage, though various programmes aimed at the most vulnerable in our community
