02 Purpose and work

What the charity exists to do

Menopause Warriors Scotland is a Scottish Charitable Incorporated Organisation (SCIO SC052321) dedicated to advancing menopause health for people in Glasgow and surrounding areas, with a particular focus on those from low income households and communities where English is not their first language. Our mission is to ensure everyone experiencing peri menopause, menopause, or Post Menopause has access to free information, guidance, and peer support that empowers them to take control of their health and wellbeing. Since 2018, we have provided a safe, inclusive, community led space where people can learn, connect, and feel understood. Our purpose is to reduce stigma, tackle misinformation, and ensure no one faces menopause alone. We support people of all ages and backgrounds to build confidence, improve wellbeing, and advocate for their health — not only during menopause, but throughout their lives.
